Thursday Purseday: Catenina. Vibrant, flashy and trendy.

Tuesday Shoesday: Casadei, you twinkle like a little star

I just couldn't help myself. I had to share these with you all. :)

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony: A not so perfect love story

When news first broke about Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's marriage falling apart, I have to admit I was shocked. Growing up, they were always seen as such a perfect, latino couple. Even though they both had their share of significant others, they were idolized and mesmerizing to see as such a powerhouse couple.

When they got married in June 2004 in J. Lo's Beverly Hills home, it was intimate and secretive. I guess this is why no one outside their circle really was aware of the roller coaster marriage they both endured. As high profile celebrities, they seemed to have kept their problems out of the public eye.

US Weekly reports that:

"At issue: Anthony's raging jealousy over Lopez's career, his compulsion to control everything from her business endeavors and even her famous wardrobe, and, according to multiple sources, at least one extra-marital affair in 2009.

And despite her ultra-glamourous, ultra-confident persona in the public eye, Lopez "actually has low self-esteem," one pal explains. "And Marc really played into that insecurity. That's why she put up with his abuse for such a long time.""

As wedding and event planners, and generally people who love to love and see others in love, it is sad when those you've admired as a powerhouse couple decide to call it quits. When it comes to celebrity couples, though, it's unfortunate that break ups and marriages seem happen in the blink of an eye. While we believe in upholding your vows and commitment to one another, sometimes it just wasn't meant to be. If you've exhausted all your avenues to reconcile and/or if there are signs of abuse, we believe these are signs that this relationship may not be working.

I know we're not relationship experts or psychologists, but these are just our opinions as members of the wedding industry. ;)

Granted, no one really knows all the details involved

in their high profile split, but what are your thoughts?

Thursday Purseday: Ostrich embossed leather for summer!

I love variations of white handbags during the summer. They're so breezy and coordinate so well with every color of the season!

This particular handbag is made by Furla, one of my personal favorite brands. They understand quality from materials purchased to final product.

This bag is a large shoulder bag made of ostrich embossed leather. (If you caught my Tuesday Shoesday post earlier this week, I guess I did have ostrich feathers in mind!)

The purse measures 21"x16"x4.5" and comes in beige. Made in Italy, of course.

For all my stylish readers out there that love purses as much as I do:

Hang on tight because Thursday is now #ThursdayPurseday! Just like we feature a fabulous shoe on #TuesdayShoesday, this one will follow suit, but will specifically be about amazing handbags!

And, for those of you unaware, on Wednesday we either try to feature a wedding industry professional/company or post a wedding related tip or article.

We're working on getting some more regular features and we have several ideas, but we'd love to gauge your opinion and see what YOU'D like us to feature!
